Giving Thanks

We have a lot to be thankful this year. I am thankful my store was closed on Thanksgiving, that our family was able to come be with us for Thanksgiving, and of course that our baby boy seems to be healthy at this time. Unc and Pankey came for Thanksgiving since Erick had to work. Then Becky decided she would make a stop in Tallahassee on her way to FWB from Nashville (a little out of the way, but we are so worth it =). So, mom and dad decided they would bring Grandma over and they would all have Thanksgiving with us.

Last year our friend Eric's mom and dad (Shirley and Jim) included us in their Thanksgiving so this year we had them along with Eric and Lisa and their 2 little ones. My work partner, Russsell's, wife is out of town so we had him as well.

Talk about a house full! But we had so much good food!! Eric fried a turkey, my Erick smoked some ribs, and everyone else provided a side and/or dessert. A special thanks to mom who provided lots of sides and desserts!

Friday morning our visitors packed up and left town. After cleaning and doing 10 loads of towels and bedding the house was ready for Christmas decorations.
